A 3 year Ph.D studentship funded by the Yorkshire Cancer Campaign is available
in the

              Biochemistry Section,
              Department of Molecular Biology & Biotechnology,
              Sheffield University.
              Sheffield S10 2TN

      You could start on the 2nd October 1989.

The project involves studying the role of salivary proteins, which bind
carcinogens, in protecting the digestive tract against cancer.
A variety of biochemical techniques and molecular biology methods will be used.

The studentship is open to anyone, and is not restricted to UK residents or
citizens
