Sequence comparisons, structural predictions, etc. Database retrieval. Restriction mapping. Hypercard stacks for teaching molecular biology (or related disciplines) The applications I've come across so far are DNA Strider, DNaid+, DNA Inspector IIe, Plasmid Artist, MacMolly, the IBI Pustell package for Mac, and Plasmid Artist. I have a feeling there must be more software out there somewhere and I'd love to get my hands on it so if you know of or have developed programs not on my list I'd really appreciate hearing from you!
