Lansing MI Lines: 13 In all this discussion of what defines a (micro,mini,main)frame machine, most of the discussion has been around cards versus chips. COnsidering some of the discussion is ranging over machines designed 20 years apart, wouldn't a much better metric be transistor counts, with a minimum number of transistors for each category within a 5 year span? Then, again I'm sure we all have more important things to do than argue transistor counts ;-) John H.
