   This is the first time I am looking at this area of NOTEs. I have some
   questions about the executables thare are posted here. Your responses
   will help me a lot !

     1. Are the executables meant to be run on PC ?
     2. How do I get them to a PC ? Do I copy them to a Unix system, cut &
        paste the executable and copy to PC ?
     3. On PC, are the executables in .EXE format or .COM format ?
     4. Are the VUGIF programs for UNIX or for PC ?
