The general sketch of the program at this point looks like that: We are going to do the development in DBASE4, them later translate the code to C and add somethings of our own like inputs from a bar code reader, etc..., compile it in C and put it to work. Connected to that I have some questions: 1) Has anybody undertaken such a task ? Is there anything already available for free or for a reasonable price ? 2) Does DBASE4 accepts input from a bar code reader ? In teh afirmative case which one ? 3) What is a good translator from DBASE4 to C ? Does it let you see the C code or only the executables ?
