Specifically, how much does one give up in using them, in terms of "technology lag" and price-preformance. My impression is that they aren't commodity products yet. Can you get MNP, v32 and telebit versions? Are there management tools for controlling and updating a bunch of them for a lot of users? How much do they really enhance security? Do any of them have their own security problems? Is there some other technology we should be considering to address our dial up security concerns? I haven't followed this group regularly in the past, and I bet this is a topic which is raised two or three times a year.
