Keywords: .signature, ELM2.2 PL8 Message-ID: <852@pcsbst.UUCP> Date: 9 Jun 89 18:13:46 GMT Reply-To: cochise!mike@pcsbst.UUCP (Mike Schroeder) Organization: PCS GmbH, Pfaelzer-Wald-Str. 36, 8000 Muenchen; West-Germany Lines: 26 Hi Elm-world, I have just noticed something about ELM 2.2 PL8 that strikes me as wierd (sp?). We all know about the discussion re. when to append signatures (BTW, I think we should have an option to allow users (those who know what's going on ;-) to choose the signature to be appended, else use the default (have an elmrc-option, eg.)). PL8 appends the signature when sending the mail according to it's own algorythm (see postings re: .signature files) -> ok, I'll live with that (for now ;-). But why does it add a blank line between the end of my text as I edited it and the '--' line before the append of the signature file? Is this RFC822 (or whatever - I do admit that I'm not to firm on RFC's - Europe doesn't seem to care about them ;-() or is it a (minor) bug in ELM?
