You can usually escape from a Kermit transfer by hitting on 'escape' until
the transfer dies from too many errors.  Dunno why your transfers aren't
working, though.  My kermit transfers Amiga <-> whatever (bbs, Unix, VMS)
using VLT have always been fine.
