I have access to some fairly inexpensive ST-506 compatible drives, and would like to utilize an interface that will accept these. Speed is not of importance, mass storage is. I've read about SCSI drive controllers that have ST-506 converters that will hook into them, I'm not particulary interested in those - since they usually run more in the dollars range. I have heard of a system called The Wedge. Although, in researching my back- issues of Amiga mags, I have not been able to locate any information about them. If anyone knows a phone number, I would appreciate it! Also, any other response on other alternatives for an ST-506 interface for my Amiga please let me know either thru this net, or directly thru EMAIL to me. Another question, do the available ST-506 controllers go on the assumption that the person has a Western Digital (or compatible) IBM drive controller card? Or does it take place of this card totally? Thanks in advance!!! Joe Kuzma (joe@bryans.scc.com)
