I have a NEC multisync II which worked fine when connected to the A500. However when connected to the B2000 the screen goes completely on reset/power up after the screen colour tests. ( ie. when the insert disk prompt would appear ). The symptoms are such that the sytem is booting correctly but the display has lost sync. I have tried powering up with the monitor connected but switched off - same result. The only way to overcome this problem seems to be disconnecting the monitor at reset/powerup and then waiting a while and then reconnecting the lead at which point the display is OK. Is this something to do with Genlock detection & if so how can I stop the B2000 falsely detecting a genlock signal ? By the way the B2000 is rev 6 with 1.3 ROM and appears to have the 1M fatter agnes (8372A) with 1 Meg chip RAM. Thanks in advance for any help with this problem. -- // -- Steve Fisher Micro. Unit.
