Maybe one of you can save my head. We are running SR 10.1, and our PostScript printers include an Apple LaserWriter II-NT and a DEC LNO3R ScriptPrinter. Both printers seem to print text, PostScript, and bitmaps (slowly) under correctly. However, when printing text, say source files, both printers eject alot of blank pages, which really increases printing time. The ~/user_data/startup.prf files have nothing unusual in them, and we are using 0.50" margins everywhere and Apollo carriage control. Both printers hang off of 3500s at 9600 baud with xon/xoff flow control. Has anyone seen this problem before? Better yet, has anyone solved this problem? Any help would be appreciated. Sincerely, Andrew Wescott University of Houston Department of Chemical Engineering
