Hmmm ... this sounds familiar ... back in the bad old
days, when I was writing my first print server for the
Apollos, I had a similar problem with my dot matrix
printer. It turned out that the /com/tctl settings for
my RS232 line included an option which converted every
carriage-return character to a cr-lf sequence, which
caused extra blank lines to show up in the middle of
a file. Are you getting the blank pages in the middle
of the file, or between files?
