My problem appears under SR9.7 with TCP3.1. People TELNET-ing into a node, and as they work, the C and Bourne Shells spawn out-of-process tasks which don't ever go away! This is inspite of my having set "env INPROCESS 'true'" in the node's /sys/node_data/startup.19l. In addition, many of the telnet processes just hang around forever, unless they are issued a ^D to logged out or explicitly killed. Is there some way to make them die after a given period of inactivity. Thanks in advance for all your help! -Chris Christopher E.
