I have a (blech) IBM PC at home. I just saw an ad for "Run X Windows on YOUR PC". I have 9600 bps dial up capibility to my (yea team) Apollo at work. Someone mentioned, Apollo as an X window manager that looks a lot like DM. Question: If I fire up "X" on my PC at home and dial my Apollo at work, can I have the Apollo DM environment on my PC? Timesharing with nifty graphics! Is 9600 bps fast enough? Does any or all of these components exist? What is the meaning of life, the universe and everything? You can post me if you know the total answer to everything or just knock it out to the net and let it bounce around for a couple of weeks.
