Too late for your purposes I suppose, but Broderbund demonstrated the "New" Print Shop (beta copy -- due out in, they hope, October) at our Club last night. LOTS of *neat*! improvements (multiple graphics per page, up to four fonts per page, up to 9 foot by 6 foot posters, etc.) including incorporation of what's now in the Print Shop Companion (also supports color and runs on //e, //c as well as IIgs). Oh yes, important point - it'll reproduce older graphics but it's internals and new graphics disks have MUCH better resolution. Back to the original question :-) The NEW COMPANION (due next January or so) will be an Apple 2e, //c, IIgs 'desktop publishing' package. No beta demo on that one, so I can't begin to compare it to Publish-IT! However, I've always been impressed by the quality of Broderbund's software (Carmen San Diego series, and Bank Street Writer as well as the Print Shop stuff).
