You'll just have to check before you buy. I think that if it is originally has a 720KB drive, is is a stripped 1040. The only thing I was disappointed by is that it didn't have sockets for the second bank of RAM. The older STFM with single-sided drive is probably always the old motherboard, and should be avoided ( If you want to expand it ).
