The main reason I want to do this is because I'm currently trying to port Sozobon C onto the Sinclair QL, as that machine has no public domain C compilers and the others available are either rubbish or expensive and difficult to use. 2) What is the format of the ASSIGN.SYS file for GDOS. I want to know this as I've recently aquired the German Replacement from comp.binaries.atari.st. I've tried just listing the filenames of all the fonts, but the program just re-boots the ST after displaying the welcoming message. If I don't have an ASSIGN.SYS file the program happily tells me that I don't have the file and exits saying that it hasn't installed itself.
