Has anyone using a DeskJet ever had damage to their sound chip as a result?" I've been using a Mega2 ST on a HP DeskJet since August of 1988. I make part of my income off of my DeskJet and print an average of three pages a day of heavy material. My system has yet to suffer any damage either on the sound chip or anything else for that matter. What resistors should there be on the ST's parallel port? How does it differ from a standard port?
