To my surprise, I noticed NFS came with two PC-NFS daemons (pcnfsd and rpc.pcnfsd). It turns out neither of these work completely, at least not with PC-NFS 3.0. The first, pcnfsd, does absolutely nothing. The second, rpc.pcnfsd, seems to do everything except allow mounting printers, responding with "Dirctory not present", or similar message. I recompiled the rpc.pcnfsd that came with PC-NFS 3.0, commented out one #include, added another, and it works perfectly. Just to let the world know...I didn't call on it, as it was nothing major... -- =========================================================================== Brian O'Neill - Boston University Corporate Education Center, Tyngsboro, MA UUCP: {decvax!savax!elrond,ulowell}!bu-tyng!oneill --- oneill@bu-tyng.UUCP Internet: oneill@bu-tyng.bu.edu (617) 649-9731 x14
