  No. It doesn't run in parallel and it isn't exceptionally fast.
In theory you will have many more users making use of it than
you would on a Sun system. This is the basis of some of the
difference in price. If you don't like this price, you'll hate
the price of Encore Ada :-)
  Also, keep in mind that running 10 pascal compiles in parallel
will give you some sense of speed.

  No GNU Pascal exists for any target, as far as I know and I'm
also not aware of another Pascal for Multimax.
