Lines: 14 In an areticle I posted earlier, I stated that the HP9000 500 and 800 series were merging, software wise. What I ment to state was the 300 and 800 are merging. It was correctly pointed out to me, that the 500 was and still is a separate animal, however, HP has stated its intention to have all its 9000 series machines (except Pascal workstations) to be running the same version of UNIX[tm] in the not too distant future.
