Sounds exactly like the problem I solved for a small firm I consult. What you
need is a $7 null modem from Radio Shack and Kermit. Works wonderfully, even at
19.2 K baud. Kermit is available for both the Mac and IBM's; call me if you 
need either one. BTW, the perenial bozo at the Computer Stores tried to sell my
client a thousand dollar network. Client got a big kick when he was faced with
my bill for $7!
