I also have a copy of VMOS/3 (current rev 1.0f).   I am convinced as well
that it has problems with VGA.  I put my paradise card in Hercules mode
and many of the crashes do not occur.  In VGA mode it hangs during
MS Word 4.0 startup, QModem talks to the modem, but not back to the
display, etc.   It is definitely too unreliable for any serious work.
