After connecting the power supply the disk apparently died. Several attempts at reviving the thing have failed. Now my friend wants to know if there is anyway to "recover the data" that was on the disk. I seem to remember seeing names of services that specialize in this kind of thing. I am sure they cost but my friend may be willing to pay. Any pointers on where to look?
