Since the mainframes we work on when not on PC's are all moving toward Unix, we've been wondering about desktop computing solutions for our office of 20 staff who have some need to share files and a great (read, "financial") need to share peripherals. What works, or might work? Unix on a powerful 386 machine and a host of terminals or AT-workstations in minimal configurations? The new Zenith Z-1000 which handles multiprocessing via multiple 386 cards? Other ideas, anyone? Guess I need a pointer to the right newsgroup also. I can't seem to get much documentation on the newsgroups we subscribe to other than their names, which isn't always enough...
