I am looking for information regarding the communication protocal/contents
between a Microsoft (or compatible) mouse and a PC.  I can't afford to buy
a new mouse or the technical docs for one (I am a struggling student) and I
have an old Apple Mouse which I would like to interface to my PC.  I have the
driver software which came with some MS software I have (which I got before 
becomming a poor student).  I want to build a purely hardware interface which
will take information from the Apple Mouse and emulate a MS mouse.

If anyone can provide me with the necessary info, I would greatly appreciate
it.
