It uses a special "MUX" board that goes in series with your existing FD controller, giving you the ability to use and access a 3.5" drive. The MANZANA system lets you hook up a third floppy drive to your system even if your machine only supports two FD drives. The manuals that came with the kit, listed a whole bunch of different machines that you could connct it up to. They had pretty good installation instructions too. It worked quite well for me. It is a bit pricey, but it works pretty good. Manzana makes two kits, a 720k drive system and a 1.44 meg drive system. Tandy was listing the MANZANA MDQT External 3.5" 720k drive kit under catalogue number 90-2134 for $410.00 in the 1989 computer catalogue. *********************************************************************** Earl W.
