After exhausting all local sources of information available to me, including IBM, I finally, in desperation, telephoned SoftLogic, the company that markets DoubleDOS. I was told that the only way DDOS will operate on expanded memory is if there is exactly 256K on the motherboard, with all the rest on an expansion card. A tech friend of mine informs me that this is not by any means a standard hardware configuration. Ergo, I have given up my quest, and must content myself with two partitions sharing 640K of memory ..... ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Tom Hall FidoNet: 1:342/6 Edmonton, Alberta BitNet : THALL@UALTAVM.BITNET ----------------------------------------------------------------------
