Organization: Delft University of Technology, The Netherlands Lines: 15 hi, I added a 3COM 3C523 ethernet controller to an IBM PS/2 mod 80. Slot 1 contained a 2MB RAMcard, slot 8 the ESDI controller. I usd slot 4 for the 5C523. After configuring the PS/2 for the new hardware, she keeps complaining about a unknown adapter (at boot time). Using the intoduction diskette reveals that the memorycard in slot one is unknown. How do I make the machine accept the 2MB extra, because I have no configuration file for this card. Or am I terribly stupid . -- Guus van der Wal Computing Centre Technical University Delft USEnet: rcdswal@dutrun.uucp BITnet: rcdswal@hdetud1.bitnet
