We just finished porting X11-magic (the version I did for X11.R3) for AIX
on the RT and on the PS/2.  Contact either me or James Jantz at (213)743-3752
about the details on the mods for saveimage.c.  We have a document that lists 
all the needed changes to get magic to work under AIX (the changes for the RT
are quite different from the ones needed for the PS/2).

Note that saveimage.c is a "DOD restricted" file, so I won't able to send you
a copy, though it won't be a problemn to tell you what is needed to have it
modified to work under AIX.
