If you are using SuperPaint 1.0 or 1.1 you CANNOT rotate text in the draw layer.


This has been corrected in version 2.0 of SuperPaint.  If you have the money,
and if they are still offering the $50 upgrade price, I would strongly
recommend that you get 2.0.  It also has a lot of other neat features!
