In TeXtures, at least, it is very easy to include illustrations from
just about any drawing or painting application.  The question about whether
the draw or paint application is "TeXable" does not really come up.  If you
can copy pictures in PICT format to the clipboard, then you can paste them
into a TeXtures document.
