Here are the author's notes when Rebound was originally posted (on 
Compuserve, I think):

Rebound 0.9

I got tired of waiting for Andy Hertzfeld to write a reentrant version of
SFScrollINIT, so I wrote Rebound. Not only is Rebound reentrant, but it also
highlights the last opened file or folder for each directory. In addition,
holding command-shift when changing directories bypasses Rebound. Holding
command-shift while typing a letter in the SFPut (Save) dialog, will scroll
you like in SFGet (Open). This is version 0.9 cause I'll probably add a few

I believe the latest version of Rebound is 0.95
