Michael, you want to try getting ahold of "Recover", a stack by Apple that
will recover (aptly named, eh?) cards from damaged stacks.  It's supposed to
be fairly successful.  I've not had the opportunity to use it yet.
  If you can't find it locally, mail me and I'll hex it up for you.
