Lines: 28 I want to upgrade my Mac SE to 2.5 MB. This requires two 1 MB chips, of course, so does anyone have experience with this matter? I'd like to know: 1. What are some reputable, cheap sources for the chips by mail order? 2. Who should I stay away from? 3. Is chip brand important from the reliability point of view? 4. What chip speed is necessary? 5. Is 2.5 MB even enough, os is there a good marginal return on investing even more in a full 4MB upgrade? 6. Is the installation difficult? Special tools? re instructions available anywhere, maybe even from readers? Many theanks for your help! ______________________________________________________ \ UUCP: {rosevax, crash, orator}!orbit!pnet51!mvg \ ARPA: crash!orbit!pnet51!mvg@nosc.mil \ INET: mvg@pnet51.cts.com \ _______________________________________________________________ Mitchell \ / "While the definite exclusion of the Natives from the more | Vincent X remunerative jobs has not been urged upon us, the same | Gossman / \ result would follow certain uses of the Wage Board.
