It is pretty simple - just link the right configuration files and "make". It took only a few hours, maybe a day tops if you are not familiar with the DYNIX Berkeley environment or with ports of this nature. Non-bug report: I compiled bison (GNU yacc) with gcc 1.30 and it ran. For anybody who wants to save 3+ hours work, I propose a swap: If somebody sends me QIC tar format (or 1600 BPI 9-track) of the CURRENT GNU tape (or just bison, gcc, and g++), I will compile the gcc (and try g++) and send back config files, source and binaries. Alternate proposal: I will swap gcc 1.30 config, source, and binaries in one of the above formats in exchange for a current SIMTEL20 Ada repository source code tape.
