Jeff Yes, I noticed the problem...and we fixed it. NCSA didn't ever go back and fix a couple of things that conflict with 4.0. (far as I know), keeping it from compiling as you noticed. I have a fixed version of connect.c and teltool.c which should permit compiling under 4.0 and also we added a feature to connect to any port (not just tcp's) which was useful to us.
