Does anyone have code that runs as a daemon on some non-Sun system which
will generate packets suitable for the perfmeter?  This would be analogous
to the code for "rstatd."  The Sun manual has examples of how to do RPC
programs; I could go from there and build something myself but I thought
I'd check around and see if someone had done it already.
