Has anyone out there heard of a >more reasonably priced hard drive for laptops that might be compatible? I have seen a company that advertises in the Computer Shopper. I *think* it's called Microsense, in La Jolla, CA. They advertise a 20 MB for the 1400 LT for about $800. Don't know the make. I was intrigued by an ad i saw recently (Bay Area Computer Currents) for Toshiba MK-130FA series HDs. 3.5", 53MB!! $445. Does anyone know if these will work in a 1400 LT. They claim that the drives are compatible with the standard ST506/412 interface. Is this what the 720K floppies in the 1400 LT use (somehow I doubt it)? -- Tim Smith tsmith@well.uucp {pacbell, ucbvax, hplabs}!well!tsmith
