If news never expired, then there wouldn't be this problem. You'd have the different problem of trying to find things in the terabytes of data. I don't find repeatedly asked questions terrible. Things change fast enough that many answers become different. What's worse is the dozens of responses with duplicated, incorrect, or partially correct answers. This is the moderation problem.
