Lines: 18 Do they go together? Why am I asking? I have compiled the HP Widget set that I obtained, (thanks to all who told me where to get it), and have successfully run some test programs. However, some would not link. There was an undefined symbol _tempnam, which I discovered is an HP-UX function. It is used in SourceDsk.c to create a temporary datafile. The use of the HP-UX function made me wonder if there are other, more subtle, differences between HP-UX and BSD 4.3 . I did get some unexpected behavior on some of the test programs. Any pointers here are greatly appreciated. Thanks, Mark ====================================================== Mark L.
