A little more data:

	Under Gcc 1.35, I got a protection fault panic when the system crashed
	Under normal Cc, I got a segmentation fault panic.

I tried increasing the size of SG_DMA_BUFSIZ since that was a problem with
a previous version of Ultrix, but that had no effect.
