Keywords: G++ GDB+ versions Message-ID: <2093@turbinia.oakhill.UUCP> Date: 5 Jun 89 16:53:31 GMT Distribution: na Organization: Motorola Inc. Austin, Tx Lines: 16 I have recently upgraded to G++ 1.35 and have been trying to figure out which GDB works with this new version. I have tried GDB+ 2.8.1 and GDB 3.1, both of which fail due to unrecognized data in the symbol table. I read that GDB 3.1+ is the correct version to use, but how does 3.1+ relate to the various versions of GDB that are out there. I have found diffs to go from 3.0 -> 3.1, which I suppose is the version I already have, and 3.1.1 -> 3.1.2, which I suspect may be what I need but I cannot find a base for the 3.1.1 diffs. I only have UUCP access, mainly from osu-cis. It would be most helpfull if I could learn the GDB version, site name where the code is(FTP or UUCP) and pathname to the files.
