Has anyone made libraries from libg++ prototyped functions?  I tried
to do so with the associative mapping functions (SplayMap, et al)
and was unable to link my program.  It worked fine when the
.cc files were linked-in as objects; however, when linking from
the libraries I received uncountable, undefined symbol errors.  It appeared
to be having problems with the inline functions.

Encouragement.  Discouragement?
