I have Stroustrup's book, but for the life of me, I can't find it in there. I understand that some papers were written on some of the newer capabilities of C++. Was the 'protected:' label discussed in any of those? If so, could some kind soul send the names/locations of those articles? Mitre has a fairly decent technical library, so I could probably find them if I knew were to look. Thanks, Forrest Palmer palmer@mwsun.mitre.org palmer@mitre.org P.S. I have G++ 1.34 if that makes a difference.
