Yesterday, Toronto Board of Education trustees voted unanimously to make the symbolic gesture and expressed outrage at the slaughter. The Board also voted to suspend all cultural and educational ties with China and will spend $5,000 for a newspaper ad endorsing the aims of the Committee of Concerned Chinese Canadians Supporting Democracy in China.
