This post will involve working on T cell recognition of the 18kDa antigen of Mycobacterium leprae and its role in protective immunity to leprosy, with Hazel Dockrell and Neil Stoker. The post is funded by a three year Project grant from the MRC, and will be available from January 1990. The successful candidate should have experience in cellular immunology, protein chemistry, and/or molecular biology. The group has strong overseas links with the Aga Khan University and Marie Adelaide Leprosy Centre in Pakistan.
