I am thinking of using Novell/Action Technologies' MHS as a basis for
on campus routing of electronic documents.  Looking at the specifications,
it seems simple enough to make a gateway between e mail that uses MHS
and email using SMTP.  It is rumoured that they exist.
 
But I haven't had a confirmed sighting.
 
Can anyone show me such a creature?
 
Does anyone have experience with MHS as a transport mechanism?
