Several days ago I posted a request for information about configuring the Practical Peripherals 1200SA modem. I received only ONE reply about it, but I have been unable to get mail back to that person. So, if you are Ronald K. Wright, I've tried to contact you by e-mail several times but my mail bounced every time. If you are NOT Ronald K. Wright, could you please help me out in case Mr. Wright doesn't get back to me? What I need is information on how to configure the "non-volatile RAM" dip switches. I have manuals for Hayes compatible 2400 baud modems, but those commands DO NOT work. This modem seems to use different commands, or else 1200 baud modems in general use different commands than 2400 baud modems, and that's the only 1200 baud modem I have, or anyone I know has. Please help, I would like to make use of this modem that has been sitting around for a couple years collecting dust! Thanks. -greg -- Gregory A.
