The file calendar.el is available by anonymous ftp in the pub directory of
a.cs.uiuc.edu.  If you can't ftp, I'll mail the code to anybody requesting it.

I am now in the process of revising the code and will post the revisions
when they are ready.  The revision includes fixing all the known minor
bugs, allowing common diary files, faster computation of holidays and
Hebrew dates, splitting the file into smaller chunks for faster loading,
and (probably) the use of European style dates.

The revised code will be part of Version 19.

To any one who knows about the comments at the meeting mentioned in the
base note, I'd like further details.
